Trainer (SSG/WSQ & In-House Programmes)
Description:
We are looking for passionate and experienced Trainers to design, deliver, and evaluate training programmes for both WSQ-accredited courses and customised in-house corporate training. The ideal candidate should be well-versed in adult education, curriculum development, and able to facilitate engaging sessions for diverse learner groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, develop, and update curriculum, training materials, and assessments for both WSQ and in-house training programmes
- Conduct training sessions in alignment with adult learning principles and learner needs
- Develop and customise in-house programmes tailored to specific client or company requirements
- Ensure alignment with SSG and WSQ frameworks (where applicable)
- Collaborate with training managers and curriculum developers to ensure high-quality delivery
Requirements:
- Full ACTA or ACLP certification (mandatory for WSQ courses)
- Relevant domain expertise in areas such as Workplace Safety, Business Management, Employability Skills, or other technical fields
- Strong understanding of SSG/WSQ frameworks and adult learning methodologies
- Experience in delivering in-house and corporate training programmes
- Skilled in instructional design and curriculum development
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiar with digital training tools and platforms
- Strong facilitation, communication, and instructional writing skills
- Able to manage multiple schedules and deliver within deadlines
- Proficiency in English or/and at least one additional language such as Tamil, Chinese, Malay, Thai, Bengali, or Burmese is preferred
- High standards of professional ethics and training integrity
- CPD certifications (e.g., DACE, e-learning development) are an added advantage.
